Lesley Haskell, AttorneyMs. Haskell has been a lawyer in the Mid-Columbia area for over fifteen years. Her clientele has included Ice Fountain Water District, Hood River County, Wasco County and the White Salmon Valley Education Foundation. In addition, her career has been devoted to working with private individuals and their families through the legal issues that can arise during their lifetime: their businesses, wills and trusts, landlord / tenant issues, probate, guardianships, grandparent rights, and divorce.

Ms. Haskell represents clients in the courts of Hood River County, Klickitat County, Wasco County and Skamania County.  She has been part of Oregon’s 7th Judicial Circuit’s Alternative Dispute Resolution committee for years.

In divorce cases, she represents both men and women in matters that involve individuals who are on good terms and those who are not. The cases she has handled include family businesses, retirement benefits, complex real estate holdings, spouses who hide assets, child custody, and pre-marital agreements.

Ms. Haskell is the primary legal advisor to Ice Fountain Water District. She advises on public bidding and contracting laws, personnel, real estate and eminent domain, and open meetings and open records laws. She has defended employers against employee complaints and agency investigations. She regularly advises public and private employers on day-to-day personnel issues, including hiring, termination, employee records, non-competition, wages, drug and alcohol policies, personnel policies and employer rights. She successfully negotiates severance agreements for both employers and employees.
